The Morning Line: World Finals - Day 5 ~ Slade Long

Kaique Pacheco has held on to the world standings lead all through World Finals and could pull ahead here against Wicked, a bull he rode the last time he was in Las Vegas. J.B. Mauney needs a home run if he intends to grab a third gold buckle and Air Time could give it to him despite his less than stellar out in Round 2. Ty Pozzobon leads the event average and has gone 4-for-4. He'll face Margy Time in Round 5, a bull he faced at the 2014 World Finals.

Mauney selects Jared Allen’s Air Time for Round 5 ~ Justin Felisko

J.B. Mauney knew he had to hit a home run in Sunday's Round 5 of the World Finals to make any kind of push at a record-tying third World Championship. Without hesitation he stated his intention to select Jared Allen's Air Time with the first pick of the Round 5 bull draft. Despite Air Time's career-worst 42.5-point bull score in Round 2, the combination of Mauney and Air Time has the possibility to break the all-time score record of 96.5 points and propel Mauney to his third world title.

Even after making it a perfect 4-for-4 Saturday night in Round 4 of the World Finals, Ty Pozzobon was still soaking everything in. The Canadian champion has made the most of his surprise appearance at the World Finals and could possibly make history by becoming the first Canadian to win the event. Whatever Sunday brings, Pozzobon will savor every moment he can in Las Vegas riding alongside his friends and giants of the sport.

J.B. Mauney grabbed the headlines with his 90.25-point ride on Red Dawn to win Round 4 of the World Finals. This means that Championship Sunday will have the 2016 World Championship on the line in what will most likely be a photo finish.

J.B. Mauney came down off Legacy Friday night and has a relatively unknown bull in Red Dawn Saturday. That said, unknown bulls usually don't do well against the defending champion. Cooper Davis is hot on Kaique Pacheco's heels after his second place finish in Round 2. His bull tonight, Dead Calm, is very unpredictable. Ty Pozzobon has drawn very well and leads the World Finals because of it. He's got another great draw in Rebel Yell tonight.

Mauney, who bucked off Friday night, has two days to make up an 825.33-point deficit. He's one of a handful of riders on the planet with the talent to do it.
